These bars have a nice twist because of the dried figs! They are healthy, filling and really cut your graving for something sweet!
2 cups oats
1 cup almonds
6 big dates
8 dried figs
1/2 cup maple syrup
3 tbsp chia seeds
1/2-1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp shredded coconut (optional)
You mix the figs and dates in a blender until a paste forms
You blend the oats, almonds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds in the blender and then add them to the fruit paste. You also add the maple syrup, chocolate chips and coconut and mix well.
Place the mixture in a tray with parchment paper and cook for 15 minutes in 180 degrees.
After you take them out cut them into bars and enjoy
