I love warm chocolate, especially when it’s so cold outside! It’s such a comforting and delicious treat, from the warmth you feel from holding the cup to actually drinking it! The reason why I have chosen to add maca powder is so it gives you that extra energy kick! You can easily substitute this drink with your coffee.
1 cup almond milk
1-2 tbsp cacao (depending on how chocolaty you like it)
1 tsp maca powder
1-2 tbsp maple syrup (to taste)
a pinch of cinnamon
- Blend all ingredients together
- Put the mixture in a small saucepan and heat.
