Lentil Pate

As a vegan you need to know exactly what to eat to get your protein and other nutrients. This pate is perfect! The lentils and cashews provide us with lots of protein, iron and fiber! You can enjoy it with celery and carrots (which are also great alkalizing foods), cucumber, tomatoes, red peppers, crackers!

Ingredients: lentil-and-cashew-pate

400gr cooked lentils (200gr uncooked)
2 tbsp olive oil
1/3 cup cashews
1 garlic glove
1/2 onion, chopped

How to:

1. Cook the lentils. You need to change the water 2 times, after they come to a boil.
2. Meanwhile, process the cashews in a food processor until they become a paste.
3. Put all ingredients in the food processor (except the onion) and process until they are smooth.
4. Place the onion in a pan and cook until brown. Then mix it in your pate.
