I find that if you have a good, healthy and delicious breakfast usually the whole day goes well! I love porridge in the winter and find it very energizing when I come up with a great recipe! It helps me make up my brain and body. So this porridge is a keeper. It boosts you with energy and fuels you for the entire morning.
Ingredients:
3 tbsp oats
1/2 cup almond milk (or any other)
1 banana
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp almond butter (or any other)
1 tsp honey
a few pumpkin seeds
a few cacao nibs
a few blueberries
How to:
- In a small saucepan place the oats, milk, cinnamon and banana and cook until the liquid is mostly absorbed. Stir while cooking so your porridge does not stick on the pan.
- When the liquid is absorbed, stir in the butter and honey.
- Pour the porridge in a bowl and top with your seeds, cacao nibs and blueberries.
- Enjoy every bite!
