These were my to go breakfast today. With the kids’ first day at school i really had no time to prepare anything! So we all got a piece of these bars in hand and left running.
The ginger and cinnamon give it a twist, so do the dried cherries. And they are filling too, so here’s another option for you!
I guess that by now you’ve realised my love for bars and energy balls! Well, nothing beats a great snack and what can i say, i love variety! So, here’s another recipe – a really good one if i may say so myself. It’s full of nuts and fruits, as chunky as they get.
It’s great as a snack and also on the go breakfast – i know that with school season starting i’ll be needing lots of those!
Blueberries are one of my absolutely favourite fruits! I love their taste, i love their health benefits and ok i love their colour! Paired with almonds, coconut, oats and chia seeds, these little bites are loaded with so much goodness your body and mood will thank you!
I have to be honest, i could not think of a name for these ones!! What i know is that they are delicious, nutritious and really keep you going! Great as breakfast, mid-day snack, pre or post workout snack!

These are truly my new favourite snack! I guess it’s the combination of cinnamon and honey that does it for me! Such a great snack to have with you, at the office or on the go.
I came up with this recipe as a way to use the almond meal, after I made my almond milk. And it’s such a pleasure to have such delicious snacks that are ready so quickly.
I always use honey from a small local producer. If you don’t want to use honey, agave or maple should taste as good.
