What is there not to love about hemp seeds?! They are a great source of protein, omega 6 and 3, fiber and contain all essential amino acids! So it’s a very good idea to try and incorporate them in your daily routine – and these bars are a tasty solution.
1 cup almonds
1 cup hemp seeds
1/2 cup oats
3 tbsp almond butter
2 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup chocolate chips
a pinch of salt
- Pulse the almonds in a food processor until they are broken in small pieces and pour them into a bowl. Add the hemp seeds and chocolate chips.
- Mix the coconut oil, almond butter and maple syrup in another small bowl until they are well combined. Add the vanilla and then pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the almonds, hemp seeds and choco chips. Add the salt and mix well until well combined.
- Pour the mixture in a tray lined with parchment paper, spread it evenly and put in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Cut into bars and there you have your healthy snacks for the week.
