This is a variation to the classical almond butter. And it’s a nice way of incorporating more seeds in your daily diet. Seeds are such a great source of so many nutrients – in this butter I chose sunflower seeds (great source of vitamin E, B1,2,3, manganese, magnesium to name a few) and flax seeds which are a super source of omega 3 fats!
You can put really anything you like – mix the nuts, put hemp seeds, chia seeds etc.
Ingredients:
1 cup roasted almonds
2 tbsp sunflower seeds
2 tbsp flax seeds
How to:
- Roast the almonds at 190 degrees for 10 minutes. Roasting the nuts in really important for the taste.
- Place the in a mixer and just blend until the butter forms
- Add the seeds and blend a bit more.
- Can be stored in the fridge.
