Spiced Almond Balls

I’ve never met a dish spiced with ginger that i didn’t like! I cannot get enough! And it can only be a good thing, since ginger is so beneficial to our health: apart from the gastrointestinal relief it is credited with, it has great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.  So come on… add ginger in your life!

Ingredients:IMG_5515

1 cup almonds

 7 big dates

2 tbsp chia seeds

2 tsps grated fresh ginger ( to taste)

1/2-1 tsp cinnamon

a pinch of salt

 

How to:

  1. Add the almonds to the food processor and process until broken down into a rough flour,
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and process until combined.
  3. Roll into small balls and refrigerate for a couple of hours
