Omega 3, Calcium, Protein, Fiber, Copper, Magnesium, Manganese, Vitamins C, B amongst a few! All things good and healthy! What is there not to like about these bars?! The thing is, when i was making these, i really wanted to load them with as much goodness as possible, and i think we are there! They are delicious, super nutritious and fuel you for hours.
Ingredients:
1 cup of mixed nuts (i used cashews, almonds and walnuts)
1/2 cup raisins
3 tbsp chia seeds
3 tbsp linseed seeds
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1/2 cup oats
1/2 cup shredded coconut
2 tbsp maple syrup (or agave)
2 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter)
2 tbsp tahini
a few drops of vanilla essence
How to:
Mix all ingredients together in a food processor. Once you have the desired consistency (in terms of the nuts: you can leave chunks or break them down completely) and the mixture is well mixed, pour it in a tray lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for 4-6 hours or overnight.
Cut into pieces and enjoy.
