This recipe was inspired by a very good chef friend of mine – he came up with a sweet for his restaurant with rose water and pistachios and I simply couldn’t resist it! I don’t know if it is our Mediterranean roots and influences, but there is something about pistachios and rose water that is so delicious!
I know it might strike you are odd at the beginning, but trust me it gives such a unique, refreshing taste to your smoothies!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup almonds, soaked in water for 2 -4 hours
1/2 cup pistachios
Rose water to taste
Stevia or agave to sweeten it if you like
How to:
1. Blend the nut well together until they form a smooth butter.
2. Add the rose water and sweetener.
