Carrot and Pineapple smoothie

Yes, it can be done: carrots can be used in your smoothies! And you know what? They are delicious! You just need to use your imagination – pair them with a bit of vanilla, acave or maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger and voila!

And it’s also nutritious:

carrots are the source not only of beta-carotene, but also of a wide variety of antioxidants and other health-supporting nutrients.

pineapple is packed with vitamin C – the body’s primary water-soluble antioxidant, manganese and vitamins B6 and B1

ginger is known for its noninflammatory actions as well as gastrointestinal relieving powers.

cinnamon is reach in manganese, fiber and calcium.

Vegan Carrot Cake and frosting

I think that a nice, moist piece of carrot cake was always one of my favourite, most comforting and satisfying sweets. So, I woke up the other day and I was determine to enjoy it once again – so I had to make the vegan version of it. And voila!

Healthy Peanut butter cookies

While I was making these cookies I was thinking about how to indulge kids! I think it’s a common issue between mums: how to get their kids to eat healthier snacks. So i tried to combine healthy, nutritious and delicious into these cookies.

Of course is not only for kids, but for adults as well!  Great to have in hand as an indulgence healthy snack or breakfast!

Carrot, Sweet Potato and Ginger Soup

Soup season has officially arrived in Cyprus!!! I love soups and every year I look forward to some cold so we can start experimenting with delicious, warming soups!
