Almond and Seeds butter

This is a variation to the classical almond butter. And it’s a nice way of incorporating more seeds in your daily diet. Seeds are such a great source of so many nutrients – in this butter I chose sunflower seeds (great source of vitamin E, B1,2,3, manganese, magnesium to name a few) and flax seeds which are a super source of omega 3 fats!

You can put really anything you like – mix the nuts, put hemp seeds, chia seeds etc.

Artichoke ‘tartare’

If you love artichokes (like I do) and gherkins, capers and ginger (like I do), then this one is for you! I came up with this recipe exactly because i wanted to combine all these foods together! And I cannot have enough really. As a main or as a side dish, this is a must try.

And it’s packed with artichoke superfood goodness – antioxidants, dietary fiber, folic acid to name a few.

Fruity Green smoothie

‘Eat your veggies please’ ‘Eat your fruit please’. These words still echo in my head!! I remember back then I really really didn’t want my veggies and rarely ate my fruit! 

Now days, I get so excited with coming up with recipes with as many greens and fruits as possible! This smoothie has spinach, kale, mango and pineapple – so bursting with flavour and vitamins C, K, A, B2 and B6, magnesium, protein, amongst other!

Cacao, Matcha and Nuts energy balls

Going through my ‘matcha madness’ moment currently! I cannot get enough of it; although I have to admit that I wasn’t crazy about the flavour at first. But it grows on you, and especially when you feel so energetic after your eat/drink it, well you fall in love with it!
