Cacao, Matcha and Nuts energy balls

Going through my ‘matcha madness’ moment currently! I cannot get enough of it; although I have to admit that I wasn’t crazy about the flavour at first. But it grows on you, and especially when you feel so energetic after your eat/drink it, well you fall in love with it!

This is how these balls where created: from our love for nuts, matcha and cacao! And the energy they give you!

Chocolate and Matcha bars

Matcha is somewhat my current obsession! Or at least one of them! I used to read about all its benefits and I have to say I was fully convinced when I tried it! It had such an amazing effect on my energy levels and mood. Now, not a day passes by without something matcha infused!

A few words about matcha: it is made from tea leaves and is packed with antioxidants, boosts metabolism, calms the mind and relaxes the body, enhances mood and is rich in fiber, chlorophyll and vitamins.

Peanut Butter and Oats Granola Bars

Granola bars have always been my weakness when it comes to snacking. I just didn’t want the sugar the store bought ones have. So,  I made this recipe, so i could enjoy my granola bars without guilt. These bars are so delicious and hearty, you can eat them as breakfast or snack. I also like the fact that they are softer than what you would expect from a granola bar.

Healthy Peanut butter cookies

While I was making these cookies I was thinking about how to indulge kids! I think it’s a common issue between mums: how to get their kids to eat healthier snacks. So i tried to combine healthy, nutritious and delicious into these cookies.

Of course is not only for kids, but for adults as well!  Great to have in hand as an indulgence healthy snack or breakfast!
